MOBILIZE. EMPOWER. CREATE LASTING IMPACT.

Who We Are

Creating a world where all children have access to education

Being ravaged by conflict for so long, South Sudan faces an enormous humanitarian crisis. With around 1.6 million people internally displaced (OCHA) and more than 2 million South Sudanese refugees in neighboring countries (UNHCR). Women and Children are the most affected. Food security remains a significant concern. The education and health systems have been destabilized, and many children do not have the opportunity and access to education.

However, the Peace Agreement signed in 2018, between the government and the rebel groups provides a glimpse of hope for relative peace and return of the displaced people to their places of origin.

Arise Gateway aims to reach out to the vulnerable communities with solutions that empower and create lasting impact. Education and training are one of our key areas of operation. We believe that education and training are vital in rebuilding a broken nation like South Sudan. As late Nelson Mandela put it rightly:

“Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

Together, we can restore hope to the vulnerable people in South Sudan and give them the life they deserve.
