About us
Arise Gateway is a National Non-Governmental Organization (NNGO) that has been serving vulnerable communities across South Sudan since 2018. We are committed to empowering people by providing avenues for local communities to access the tools and resources they need to achieve sustainable development and growth.
Our work focuses on supporting education for underprivileged children, offering scholarships to students, providing training for local farmers, and equipping individuals with essential skills to help them realize their full potential. Guided by a community-driven approach, we collaborate closely with local communities to design and implement sustainable solutions to local challenges — ensuring that development is not only impactful but also lasting.

Impact Stories
Bosco Bida, now 15, is one of the first beneficiaries of the Arise Gateway sponsorship program. Since his enrollment in 2018, Bida has significantly improved in his learning. Growing up without his parents’ support, Bida had no hope that he would one time have access to education. But thankfully, Arise Gateway’s sponsorship program restored his lost hope. Now he enjoys learning at school. “when I joined the sponsorship program, I could not read and write clearly, but now I have learned a lot, and I can read and write all the things taught to us in class, and I have also been performing well since then.” – Bosco Bida.
